Frequently Asked Questions
What is ASDDO? +
ASDDO stands for Absent, Shifted, Dead, Duplicate, and Others. It is an official list published by the Election Commission of India during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. It lists voters whose names are proposed to be deleted from the electoral roll for one of these reasons.
What is SIR 2026? +
SIR 2026 refers to the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls being conducted in 2026. During this process, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) survey every household and propose additions, corrections, and deletions. The ASDDO list is the draft deletion list published as part of this process.
Where does this data come from? +
The data is taken directly from the official ASDDO PDF files published by the Election Commission for Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada districts. Every field — name, EPIC number, part number, reason — is extracted as-is from those PDFs. Nothing has been added, edited, or interpreted.
My name is on this list. What should I do? +
This is a draft deletion list — your name being here does not mean it has already been removed. Here is what to do:

1. Check your name on the CEO Karnataka portal at ceokarnataka.kar.nic.in or contact your Booth Level Officer (BLO).

2. Find out the reason your name was flagged — Absent, Shifted, Dead, Duplicate, or Others — from the BLO or Electoral Registration Officer (ERO).

3. Submit or re-submit the Enumeration Form with correct details and any supporting documents requested.

4. Follow up with the BLO or ERO regularly until verification is complete and your name is correctly updated.

5. If you have permanently shifted to another constituency, apply for enrolment at your new address using Form 6 (or through the applicable process under SIR).
Is this an official government website? +
No. This is an independent public service tool built by Gangolli News Network to help people easily search the officially published ASDDO PDFs. The data is sourced from official documents, but this site is not affiliated with the Election Commission of India or any government body.
Why is the reason shown as "Death" or "Permanently Shifted"? +
These reasons are taken directly from the source PDF as recorded by the BLO during the survey. If you believe the reason is incorrect — for example, if someone listed as deceased is actually alive — contact your BLO or ERO immediately and submit the correct documents.
